DECIBELL SOUND DESIGN WORKSHOP      (FREE)

Learning Objectives

The purpose of this workshop is to create awareness of the auditive sensorial experience and the use of technology in the manipulation, recording, and designing of sound for audio-visual media.

Each participant will create a sound design piece for a video that the workshop will provide. The participants will gather their own sounds during a recording session. The source material will be edited and mastered in Pro Tools. Participants will be introduced to Max/MSP and Supercollider as a sound processing tool.

At the end of the workshops, there will be a covering of all the videos with the sound design created by the participants.

January 23th to 26th (Monday to Friday) 3pm/6pm
